Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a long-line paint truck for applying pavement markings at speeds between 4-25 km/h
• Ensure all markings are precise, durable, and compliant with industry regulations
• Utilize monitoring systems, cameras, and advanced pavement marking technology
• Follow strict safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Assist in loading and unloading materials

Experience:

• Independently operate the rear end of long-line paint truck with precision
• Ensure quality control and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Train and mentor trainee drivers as part of a structured development program

Qualifications

• For Experienced Drivers:
• Class 5 driver's license required
• 3+ years of experience in pavement marking
• 1+ years of experience operating a long-line paint truck
• Strong knowledge of monitoring systems, camera operations, and industry regulations
• Ability to work night shifts and long hours with lots of overtime opportunities during the on-season
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail

Work Schedule

• On-Season: Late March - November 30
• Night Shifts: 6:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Days Off: Saturdays off; occasional Friday work required
• Guaranteed hours with daily overtime opportunities
