Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills, ensuring that our clients receive prompt and professional assistance. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need.

Duties

  • Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance, including vehicle breakdowns and accidents.
  • Perform vehicle recovery and towing operations in various conditions, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform minor automotive repairs when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle condition reports.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate towing operations effectively.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Tow Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is essential.
  • Experience with commercial driving is required; a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
