What We're Looking For

Origin is excited to announce that we're seeking a full-time driver and cabinet mover with a clean Class 5 license and air brake endorsement.

A Day In The Life Of Our Class 5 Driver

  • Operating our regional, 5-ton 100% electric truck, in a safe and efficient manner. You must have a clean driver's abstract.
  • Delivering kitchen cabinets throughout the Okanagan Valley in a 2-person team
  • Moving and lifting cabinets in and out of the truck with care
  • Maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in regards to attire and the inside/outside of the truck
  • Completing different tasks around the Westwood warehouse when there are no deliveries planned
  • Upholding the highest safety standards, in and out of the truck

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License (at least 5 years of driving experience with a clean abstract)
  • Canadian citizen/resident or valid work permit
  • Air brake endorsement
  • Practical experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Ability and experience moving and lifting heavy items
  • Experience in a customer-facing position
  • Previous furniture delivery experience is an asset
  • Experience working with a team
  • Reliable and flexible to meet business needs with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
