Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs or disabilities, and requires a bilingual ability in English and Korean is a plus. The Teacher will play a vital role in supporting children's development, implementing engaging curricula, and collaborating with colleagues and families to ensure each child's success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral concerns
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments
  • Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and educational software
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan school events and curriculum enhancements
  • Uphold health and safety standards in compliance with childcare regulations

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
  • Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageous
  • Bilingual proficiency in English is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated classroom experience demonstrating leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
  • Proficiency in computer operation for educational purposes and record management
