Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in the food industry, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior restaurant or barista experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, serving, and customer interaction within a dynamic team setting.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during food preparation and service
  • Set up dining areas, tables, and stations for service
  • Assist with food presentation and ensure quality control before serving
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Experience

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Experience in serving, food preparation, or barista duties is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
