Human Resources Intern

Vtrain is looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist with HR operations and administration, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing HR consulting and training organization. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the full spectrum of HR activities and develop practical skills in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment and pre-hiring activities, including candidate screening and scheduling interviews.
  • Support onboarding, employee lifecycle, and offboarding processes to ensure accurate and timely completion of HR documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records and files using HR systems.
  • Assist with HR operations tasks such as generating HR reports, employment verifications, and other administrative duties.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including training sessions and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in English.
