Programmer/Analyst – Level 2 (Remote, contract)

Role:

Purpose of the Role Act as the primary technical lead between onshore stakeholders and an offshore system integrator. The role focuses on reviewing architecture and code, ensuring standards and security are met, and coordinating collaboration so solutions are high quality, scalable, and maintainable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review architecture and design documents from the offshore integrator and confirm alignment with enterprise standards, scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Provide feedback on designs early to reduce delivery risk and clarify requirements.
  • Run/participate in design and code review sessions; document findings and track issue resolution.
  • Review code for standards, readability, performance, security, algorithms, error handling, and data validation.
  • Promote best practices (modularity, test coverage, documentation) and mentor offshore developers.
  • Act as main technical point of contact between onshore teams and offshore vendor, including regular review meetings, status updates, and requirement clarification.
  • Use collaboration tools to share feedback, track progress, and support cohesive teamwork across geographies and time zones.

Technical Skill Requirements

  • Strong experience with SSRS, SQL, C#/.NET, X++.
  • Expert-level ASP.NET MVC and API development using C#, plus front-end skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM expertise: Master Data model, plug-in development (CRM SDK), configuration of processes, workflows, rules, and calculated fields.
  • Azure experience: Logic Apps, Function Apps, Web Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL.
  • Work within Dynamics 365 tech stack: Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Application Insights.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for Dynamics 365 and deployment strategies.
  • Strong C#/.NET and Visual Studio, PowerShell.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft environments via APIs and designing business workflows and processes.
  • Understanding of federated authentication (e.g., Azure AD B2C/Entra External ID) and Dynamics security model best practices.
