The Social Innovation Office (SIO) is seeking to fill 1 term - full-time position within the Department of Families.

Qualifications:
**Essential**:
- Post-secondary degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, with related work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- High level of political acumen to navigate sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong written communication skills in French, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for different audiences
- Strong written communication skills in English, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for different audiences
- Strong verbal communication skills in French with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences to present information formally and informally

- Experience conducting research, analysis, and program evaluation
- Demonstrated initiative, and the ability to work autonomously, with mínimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team as well as establish and maintain strong working relationships with the public, stakeholders, government officials and staff at all levels
- Knowledge of Manitoba’s Francophone community and the objectives of The Francophone Community Enhancement and Support

- Experience working with Manitoba’s Francophone community and/or official language minority communities
- Presentation and facilitation skills
**Duties**:
The Social Innovation Office (SIO) liaises with Manitoba government departments and external partners to find new ways of solving complex social and environmental problems. Reporting to the Manager of the SIO, the Bilingual Program and Policy Analyst uses a strong customer service approach to support social finance and social innovation projects and conducts research and analysis of both existing and innovative government policies and programs. The Analyst works on an interdisciplinary team and acts as a research and evaluation consultant to other departments on highly complex projects, using rigorous design and evaluation processes.
