A little about the role…

As a Sales Account Executive at Konstruct, you'll be a critical part of our growing sales team, responsible for turning qualified leads into long-term client partnerships. You'll be working primarily with industrial and manufacturing companies—the kind of businesses that make things, build things, and move the economy forward. These are practical, results-driven decision-makers who need a partner that understands their world.

The good news? We've already done the hard part—our mature marketing funnel consistently delivers 3-4 sales-qualified leads (SQLs) per week, and we have a proven sales process ready for you to run with and make your own.

You'll own the full sales cycle from first conversation to signed contract. That means conducting discovery calls to understand prospect pain points, delivering compelling proposal presentations, handling objections like a pro, and ultimately closing deals that drive real results for our clients and our agency.

Reporting directly to our Director of Growth, you'll have a clear path to make an impact. We're building something special here, and for the right person, this role has a real opportunity to evolve into a VP of Sales position as we continue to scale.

A little about you…

Your Experience:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in an agency, SaaS, or professional services environment
  • Experience selling to industrial, manufacturing, or other traditional B2B industries is a strong asset
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas (show us the numbers)
  • Experience running discovery calls, presenting proposals, and closing deals
  • Understanding of performance marketing services (paid media, SEO, content marketing)—you don't need to be an expert, but you need to speak the language fluently
  • Comfortable selling service-based, retainer-model offerings
  • Experience with CRM systems (we use HubSpot) and maintaining a clean, accurate pipeline
  • Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies

Nice To Have:

  • Prior agency sales experience (you understand the agency world and its unique value proposition)
  • Background working with or selling to manufacturers, industrial suppliers, or skilled trades companies
  • Understanding of the unique challenges industrial brands face with digital marketing (long sales cycles, niche audiences, complex buying committees)
  • Background in digital marketing (maybe you started as a marketer and found your calling in sales)
  • Track record of career progression in sales roles

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Running 6-10+ discovery calls per week with sales-qualified leads from industrial and manufacturing companies
  • Presenting tailored proposals and recommendations based on prospect needs
  • Managing your pipeline and providing accurate forecasting
  • Collaborating with our strategy team to scope and price opportunities
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Meeting (and crushing) monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Contributing to the refinement of our sales process and playbook
  • Representing Konstruct at industry events and networking opportunities (occasionally)
