Tradeport Electronics Group is an established, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory servicing a broad range of electrical and electronic measuring instrumentation. Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Calibration Technicians, Technologists, or Metrology Engineers to join our team immediately.

Position Overview

The successful candidates will perform both in-house and on-site calibration of electrical and electronic measuring instrumentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and Tradeport quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calibration and verification of electrical and electronic measuring instrumentation
  • Operation and maintenance of precision calibration standards and systems
  • Extensive use and understanding of Fluke and related calibration instrumentation
  • Interpretation of specifications, tolerances, and calibration procedures
  • Preparation of accurate calibration records and reports
  • Troubleshooting and minor repair of customer instrumentation as required
  • Supporting customer on-site calibration services

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience calibrating electrical and electronic measuring instrumentation
  • Strong familiarity with Fluke calibration equipment and systems
  • Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Metrology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environment is a strong asset
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team
  • Legal resident of Canada
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle (required for on-site service work)

  • Income negotiable based on technical experience and previous employment history
