QA Technician

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team. The QA Technician will be responsible for maintaining the fixture and gauge control program.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for Gauge Calibration, Tracking and Issuance
- Authority to perform and coordinate Gauge R & R Studies
- New Gauge Calibration and Issuance
- Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned in QA dept.
- Work in compliance and conform to IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Work in compliance with the provisions of OHSA and the regulations
- Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Multimatic requires to be used or worn.
- Other duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Possess a University Degree or College Diploma or equivalent and or previous relevant manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge or experience in Measurement system (gauging and tooling) would be an asset.
- Proficient in computer software, Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems would be an asset.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - dealing with suppliers and various departments.
