Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo) Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

At BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), we're in the business of bringing people together for world-class conventions, sold-out concerts, and global sporting events that light up British Columbia. As proud operators of the Vancouver Convention Centre and BC Place Stadium, we help create moments that people never forget.

We are hiring a
Payroll and Benefits Administrator
who delivers people-first service with care and a great sense of teamwork. Join a high-performing, collaborative team that supports over 1,000 unionized and non-unionized employees across two of BC's most iconic venues.

If you love the idea of combining your technical payroll expertise with a role that directly supports the people behind BC's biggest events, please apply to this unique opportunity.

What You Will Do:

  • Take ownership of bi-weekly payroll processing for union and non-union employees using Dayforce.
  • Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements accurately.
  • Handle complex payroll activities, including T4s, ROEs, government reporting, garnishments, and retroactive pay.
  • Administer benefit plans, leave programs, and pension enrolments, ensuring seamless onboarding and transitions.
  • Reconcile accounts, audit payrolls, and maintain compliance with all federal and provincial legislation.
  • Partner closely with People & Culture and Finance to manage attendance, vacation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide timely, courteous support to employees on payroll or benefits inquiries.

What You Will Bring:

  • PCP designation, or in progress and near completion.
  • A certificate or diploma in Business, Finance, or Human Resources.
  • 1–3 years' experience in full-cycle Canadian payroll — union exposure is a strong asset.
  • Benefits administration experience, including group health, leave programs, and pension plans.
  • Working knowledge of Dayforce and strong Excel skills.
  • A sharp eye for detail, great customer service, superb communication skills, and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset.

At PavCo, we are committed to building high-performance teams. Our selection process is thorough, and all candidate applications are reviewed. Should your qualifications and experience meet the requirements of this role, a member of our recruitment team will contact you.
