Job Description: Line Associate
Plant Name: Tycho Poly Inc. Reporting to: Quality Control, Supervisor, Lead-hand & Machine Operator.

Position Summary:
Line Associate Will be responsible for the setup, Satisfactory production of all equipment, accurate packing, and inspection of all products. Ensure that Production area meets Tychopoly housekeeping requirements. This responsibility is to be exercised within the scope of all company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Line Associate is the first step in a training path to become Machine operator. Must be able to work 7:00AM/PM - 7:00AM/PM
Responsibilities:
· Personal gadgets like Cellphone, smart watches and EarPods are prohibited inside the plant.
· Demonstrates ability to meet production and Quality standards on scheduled orders.
· Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
· Performs in accordance with a safety requirements and instructions.
· Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
· Responsible for notifying a Production Manager, Supervisor or Machine Operator when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
· Reports all production waste/issues to Production Manager, Supervisor or Machine Operator.
· Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
· Follows all company policies and procedures.
· Packs quality product into case/roll or onto pallets.
· Inspects product on regular basis for quality. (After every 2 rolls/boxes)
· Assist in operating, setup of lines and cleaning all production equipment.
· Adhere to all Work-order specifications.
· Follow company packing procedures and standards.
· Work with and their colleagues to accomplish required production tasks.
· Communicate concerns and ideas effectively to Machine Operator, Supervisor and Production Manager.
· Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines.
· Prepare packaging for the product (Core, Core plug, Label, Skid, Overwrap etc.) during a changeover process and use proper packaging to wrap the product.
· Place proper labeling on boxes/Rolls and follow work instructions.
· Cut the changeover scrap with knife safely and move it to scrap box while using the core for the other orders.
· Make sure to Put scrap in specified product type scrap. Seek supervisor for help.
· Inspect and pack appropriate number of defined products into/onto boxes. /Rolls
· Make Sure to check exact number of cases/rolls as specified on the workorder.
· Follow company packing procedures and standards.
· Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully.
· Inspect, weigh, and package each product to make sure its within customer's quality requirement.
· Monitor flow of product into processing machinery
· Utilize computer system to enter order information, roll/case weight and able to print labels and applies to each product.
· Must learn 'Line Associate Cyframe ERP system' to understand proper flow of work.
· Ensuring all areas of work are done accurately to ensure optimal production output and reduce scrap.
· Must learn to setup production lines and setup extruders within training periods.
Job Requirements:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic Math & Computer skills.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- Previous Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to adjust to change and interruptions.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to lift and bend repetitively.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours per shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60 per hour
