The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and plating dishes according to restaurant standards, ensuring efficient service during busy hours.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including proper food handling and storage
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to uphold health standards
  • Support the kitchen team during peak hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service principles
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills
  • Previous experience in serving or food industry roles is a plus but not required
