Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role involves managing the inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping and receiving processes, and operate various material handling equipment. This position is essential in supporting our warehouse distribution, e-commerce, and inventory management functions to ensure timely delivery and stock accuracy.

Duties

  • Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately
  • Receive incoming goods, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and update inventory records
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, AS400, or similar platforms for order processing and inventory tracking
  • Pick orders accurately using order pickers or other tools for order fulfillment
  • Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate efficient warehouse distribution
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely following all safety protocols
  • Ensure proper labeling and documentation for all shipments and receipts
  • Support e-commerce order processing by ensuring timely picking, packing, and shipping of online orders

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred, including shipping & receiving operations
  • Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment (certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP systems, AS400 is a plus
  • Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory management
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods during shift hours
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce order fulfillment is desirable
  • Reliable transportation to arrive on time for shifts; flexibility to work various shifts as needed
