Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, be comfortable handling cash transactions, and have a passion for retail.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and upsell- this is a key factor of the job. if you know how to do upselling, we can teach you everything else
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision and care.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively sell to customers.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.

Skills

  • Talking conformably and confidently with customers and guests is a must skill for the job
  • Must confidently initiate conversations with passersby to engage and introduce products
  • Proficient in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
  • some cash handling experience with attention to detail in transactions.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Experience in cashiering and operating POS systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining professionalism.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in cold sales, such as cold calling, cell phone plan sales, insurance, or similar fields
