Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

This team member must be able to work all weekends. If you cannot work weekends please do not send in your application as we are currently only looking for weekend staff.

In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service and assist our clients with styling, second hand shopping needs. . The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales orientation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your sales skills while contributing to a welcoming shopping experience for all customers. Knowledge of the second hand market is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
  • Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention
  • Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  • Uphold excellent customer service standards, including effective communication, phone etiquette, and time management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service required
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
  • Ability to problem solve and think on the spot
  • Self starter and someone that takes initiative is what we are seeking
  • Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels efficiently
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple customers simultaneously during busy periods
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
