Duties

  • Operate trucks to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting and moving of products.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their needs.
  • Experience operating forklifts is a plus for loading and unloading cargo efficiently.

  • Proven commercial driving experience with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
