Full-time

$20.00 – $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Location: Toronto, ON (or specify your exact area, e.g., Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke – must be willing to travel within GTA)- No long-haul – home every night

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled G or DZ License Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and effective communication with both clients and team members.

Key Duties:

  • Operate trucks (primarily 5-ton/straight/box trucks) to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations

  • Load and unload Truck, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage (heavy lifting required)

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations

  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving

  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting and moving of products

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Ontario G or DZ commercial driver's license (air brake endorsement preferred)

  • Proven commercial driving experience with straight trucks

  • Clean driver's abstract and CVOR (must provide current copies)

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and documentation effectively

  • Experience operating forklifts is a plus

  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial
