The Digital Templater position is an important function in the overall process of delivering the best possible service to our customers. The ideal candidate should be competent, have the ability to work independently, and be capable of communicating effectively with the logistics team. The Templater adds value by ensuring accurate measurements and detailed site parameters are recorded properly so that we as a team can produce the best possible results and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Produce accurate templates for jobs
  • Employ laser templater and other measuring tools to capture exact measurements
  • Create Auto CAD shop drawings for the job
  • Incorporate customer selections and specifications
  • Document key installation considerations
  • Seam, faucet, outlet placements
  • Order of operations for installation
  • Understand and document job site parameters
  • Assess possible issues
  • Engage with customers to review our process and job details
  • Review customer expectations
  • Clarify customer selections

Qualifications

Preferred / Valuable

  • Experience in a construction related planning role
  • Experience in kitchen design
  • Knowledge of project management

Mandatory

  • Experience in a very detail-oriented role
  • Experience producing Auto CAD drawings
  • Strong customer engagement skills
  • G License and clean driving record

Working conditions

Most of this role will be spent traveling to multiple customer job sites throughout Southwestern Ontario, while working remotely with fluid timelines.

This role primarily utilizes a cell phone, a tablet, & a digital templater. Our customers range from individual homeowners who are excited about their new kitchen, to very busy home builders that are working on many homes at once.

Our hours of operation vary from Monday to Friday between 7am to 6pm with occasional weekend work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

  • AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • G Driver's License (required)
