Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Honeywell Experion/TPS DCS Engineer based in Fort McMurray, AB. The selected candidate will be responsible for design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Honeywell Experion and TPS Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Daily tasks involve system integration, troubleshooting, and implementing process controls. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate closely with clients to define project requirements and ensure seamless delivery of solutions that meet operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Honeywell Experion and TPS DCS platforms, including system design, configuration, and maintenance
  • Solid understanding of process control strategies, logic development, and fault diagnostics
  • Experience in system integration, commissioning, and maintaining control systems for industrial applications
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting system and hardware issues related to DCS environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and clients
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, or Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in automation systems and prior experience in oil and gas industry projects are considered assets
