About The Role.
The Vice President, Supply Chain, Global Snacking leads integrated global supply chain planning for McCain's Snacking business – ensuring cost-efficient, high-performance execution across supply, demand, sourcing, and inventory, while building the foundations for future scalability and growth.
Reporting directly to the President, Global Snacking, this leader acts as a key strategic partner to regional supply chain leaders worldwide – orchestrating and aligning how each region plans, sources, and delivers within the global snacking network.
The role is focused on managing volatility, optimizing plant performance, and guiding inventory and supply decisions based on global forecasts. Success relies on strong relationships, influence, and collaboration across functions and geographies.
What You'll Be Doing.
Global Snacking Supply Chain Leadership & Excellence

  • Drive alignment across Regions and Global teams to deliver end-to-end supply chain effectiveness for Snacking.
  • Govern global planning functions and resolve cross-regional planning conflicts and trade-offs.
  • Oversee and lead all SCA-related activities for Global Snacking.
  • Partner with Digital & Technology to enhance data visibility, systems integration, and planning accuracy.
  • Provide governance and escalation support across global and regional supply chain teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to regional and SLT partners - providing insight on plant performance, production optimization, and efficiency. Hold regional manufacturing teams accountable for operational excellence, yield performance, and adherence to productivity targets.
  • Anticipate and manage volatility across supply, demand, and logistics, ensuring proactive scenario planning and agile responses.

Global Snacking Network Strategy

  • Own the Snacking network strategy in partnership with Global Supply Chain.
  • Provide strategic input to network modelling, co-manufacturing footprint, and capacity planning.
  • Support risk mitigation and co-manufacturing decisions through data-driven analysis.
  • Contribute to long-term capital planning and network investment decisions to ensure flexibility and growth readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for network expansion, new category builds, and investment in future capacity. Advise on strategic partnerships, co-packing arrangements, and contract manufacturing models to strengthen the global footprint. Collaborate closely with regional leaders to align local execution with global strategy, ensuring each geography contributes to a unified, high-performing Snacking network.

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Aggregate and pressure-test Region-led demand plans and long-range inputs (LRPs).
  • Oversee strategic and tactical supply planning to align volume with innovation and growth priorities.
  • Partner with Operations and Finance to reconcile plans with performance, variances, and yield outcomes.
  • Lead coordination of in-house and co-manufactured networks to optimize capacity utilization.
  • Consolidate regional inputs to form a unified global supply view ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and inventory health.
  • Guide inventory decisions and advise regions on optimal working capital and buffer management.

Intercompany (InterCo) Management

  • Manage and own InterCo processes and governance for Global Snacking.
  • Optimize fulfillment trade-offs and customer-region exchanges to balance cost and service.
  • Ensure alignment of InterCo transfer pricing logic, service levels, and network efficiency.
  • Partner with Finance and Regional Supply Chain to resolve InterCo performance and reconciliation issues.
  • Act as a global escalation point to manage intercompany flow disruptions and support cost-service trade-offs.

Inventory Health & Governance

  • Define and manage Snacking inventory strategy globally – buffer levels, working capital alignment, and variance accuracy.
  • Govern processes for ownership transfer between plants and regions.
  • Partner with Regional Supply Chain and Finance to track performance versus P&L and ensure alignment to inventory targets.
  • Drive accountability for global inventory visibility, stock accuracy, and buffer planning through data-led reviews.
  • Ensure that inventory and network decisions enable agility, service reliability, and profitability in volatile (SC; not sure if we want to use this language) market environments.

Talent & Capability Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team.
  • Build future capability through succession planning and professional development.
  • Foster collaboration, inclusion, and shared accountability across all Snacking regions.
  • Embed a "One Supply Chain" mindset that encourages connectivity and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need To Be Successful.

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business (Master's preferred).
  • Expertise in end-to-end supply chain functions, including planning, sourcing, and co-manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of financial levers, cost efficiency, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with digital supply chain tools, analytics, and systems integration.
  • Proven success leading transformation and alignment in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across diverse global teams, with the ability to advise senior leaders with confidence and data-backed insight.
  • Alignment with McCain's values of authenticity, integrity, and people-first leadership.

Experience

  • 15 years of progressive supply chain leadership in multinational or FMCG environments (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, transformation, and scalability.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams.
  • Experienced in leading through complexity, influencing at senior levels, and fostering high-performance cultures.

Compensation Package
:

$300,000 – $350,000 USD annually + bonus eligibility + Long-Term Incentive eligibility
