Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educator to join our team in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and toddlers and possess a strong passion for early childhood education. This role involves designing and implementing educational activities, supporting children's developmental needs, and collaborating with families and staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants. Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and caregivers to tailor educational approaches to individual children's needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
  • Assist with caregiving duties such as feeding, diapering, and supervising children during activities and transitions.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Prior classroom experience working with young children is required.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to individual children's developmental stages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
