Front End Garbage Truck Driver

Super Save Group is seeking an experienced class 3 drivers to fill Front End Garbage Truck Driver position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance and operational safety.
  • Handle loading waste bins and disposing into the vehicle containment system.
  • Dumping loaded trucks at approved post collection facilities.
  • Ensure safe operations of truck, while driving, loading and unloading.
  • Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to company Health and Safety Program standards and follow all safe operating practices.
  • Making sure vehicle is properly cleaned at the end of shift and prepared for following shift.
  • Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers, colleagues, and supervisors at all times.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 1 year of Class 3 driving experience. Previous experience driving and operating trucks with hydraulic systems is an asset.
  • Proven ability to maneuver trucks in tight or challenging spaces.
  • Able to follow safe operating practices when working in and around landfills.
  • Capable of handling the physical aspect of the job, pushing and pulling bins into place.
  • Directional knowledge of the Lower Mainland.
  • Ability to work independently.
