Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Rite-Way Fencing Inc. in Kelowna. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting fencing materials and equipment to various job sites, and surrounding branches, ensuring timely deliveries that support our company's mission of quality service and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
- Operate a 5 Ton truck in a safe, professional and courteous manner
- Conduct daily inspections on trucks prior to use
- Able to self load and unload materials with a forklift
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Deliver within Kelowna and southern BC
- Install chains when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking and organizing inventory
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and deliver products to customers/Rite-Way Branches
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required
- Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of the day
- Accurate reporting of daily time to Branch manager via electronic submission
What We're Looking For:
- Class 5 Drivers License with Air Brake Endorsement, operating a 5 Ton Truck, clean drivers abstract
- Minimum 3 years experience in a delivery and warehouse role preferred
- Forklift certification
- Minimum 3 years experience driving a forklift
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Welding experience an asset, but not necessary.
