Vendor Accounting Analyst III

About the Role:
This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships for more complex vendors. This role completes various account analyses and/or account reconciliations while partnering with TD SYNNEX Vendor Partners. Identifies, researches, and resolves items to minimize reserve risk in addition to reconciling all open items to include invoices, credit memos, variances and deductions.
What You'll Do:
- Completes various account reconciliations for more complex and large volume vendors. Identifies, researches, resolves and escalates issues (e.g. variances) impacting financial statements.
- Performs monthly journal entries and assists in month end close processes.
- Monitor and take necessary action on vendor receivables to prevent aging that would result in a negative financial impact.
- Applies knowledge, experience, and expertise when addressing complex issues.
- Calculates month-end accruals. Responsible for month-end close and the preparation of month-end deliverables.
- Resolves and escalates issues to management in a timely manner.
- Identifies and executes opportunities for process improvements.
- Identifies areas of risk/exposure and presents/identifies alternative solutions. Identifies obstacles and opportunities within dept.
- Overall understanding of the business outside of Vendor Accounting.
- Supports department strategy and vision.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Executes instructions and requests clarification when needed.
- Demonstrates complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Recognizes and attends to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Interacts effectively with higher levels of management (managers & above).
- Communicates clearly and conveys necessary information.
- Negotiates skillfully and promotes/sells ideas persuasively.
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
- Collaborates and builds solid, effective working relationships with others.
- Adjusts readily to change and adapts as needed.
- Works independently with minimum supervision.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Uses relevant computer systems and applications at an advanced level.
- Quickly learns/adapts to new systems and technology.
- Remains immobile for long extended periods.
- Stays awake and alert while performing work.
Working Conditions:
- Professional, office environment.
- Hybrid Work Schedule: This role is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance two days per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, allowing for flexibility while ensuring collaboration and support for team objectives.

Vos responsabilités
- Effectuer diverses conciliations de comptes pour des fournisseurs complexes et à grand volume.
- Identifier, analyser, résoudre et, au besoin, escalader les enjeux (p. ex. écarts) ayant un impact sur les états financiers.
- Effectuer les écritures de journal mensuelles et contribuer aux processus de clôture de fin de mois.
- Surveiller et intervenir sur les comptes fournisseurs afin d'éviter un vieillissement pouvant entraîner un impact financier négatif.
- Appliquer ses connaissances et son expertise pour résoudre des enjeux complexes.
- Calculer les provisions de fin de mois et préparer les livrables liés à la clôture mensuelle.
- Résoudre et escalader les problèmes à la direction en temps opportun.
- Identifier et mettre en œuvre des occasions d'amélioration des processus.
- Déterminer les zones de risque/exposition et proposer des solutions alternatives.
- Avoir une compréhension globale des activités au-delà de la comptabilité fournisseurs.
- Soutenir la stratégie et la vision du département.
Profil recherché
- De 3 à 5 années d'expérience pertinente.
- Baccalauréat requis; spécialisation en comptabilité ou en finance privilégiée.
- Capacité à exécuter les instructions et à demander des précisions au besoin.
- Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes complexes, pensée critique et prise de décision efficace.
- Souci du détail avec précision et efficacité.
- Capacité à interagir efficacement avec la haute direction (gestionnaires et plus).
- Communication claire et transmission efficace de l'information.
- Habileté à négocier et à promouvoir des idées de façon persuasive.
- Leadership affirmé, créativité et esprit d'initiative.
