Summary

'Fabricator' is a key role at di Pietra Design based in Barrie. You will be instrumental in crafting and assembling stone surface products that meet our high standards of quality. Join us to contribute to creating beautiful and durable surfaces that enhance our clients' spaces.

Responsibilities

'Fabricator' responsibilities include:

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately cut and shape stone surfaces.
  • Operate power tools such as hand grinders, hand polishers
  • Assemble components with precision using hand tools and power tools
  • Accurately measure and layout pieces for hand cutting features
  • Colour match appropriate adhesives for assembly of stone
  • Confident working with materials including quartz, quartzite, marble, porcelain and solid surfaces
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all fabrication processes.
  • Occasional travel to site to support installations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain equipment and workspace in excellent condition.
  • Assist in quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
