Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring accurate medication management. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment, supporting patient health and safety through precise medication handling and effective communication. Prior community pharmacy technician experience is preferred, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures.

Negotiable competitive wage based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions accurately
  • Manage medication inventory, including restocking and organizing supplies
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under pharmacist supervision
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain detailed records of medication transactions in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation related to prescriptions and patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient service delivery

Experience

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations
  • Experience with medication administration processes and patient care practices
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure
  • Kroll experience an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
