Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Verify patient information, prescriptions, and medication orders for correctness
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper storage and disposal of medications
  • Document medication transactions accurately in Kroll
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping

Requirements

  • Previous retail, pharmacy, or fulfillment experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Kroll is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Experience:

  • Pharmacy technician: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Pharmacy Technician Licence (required)
