Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to improve the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. This role involves delivering personalized care in a respectful and empathetic manner, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for all clients.

Duties

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care including medication administration and monitoring health conditions
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
  • Follow care plans accurately, especially when working with clients with dementia or hospice needs
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times during caregiving activities

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care is highly valued
  • Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
  • Experience in caregiving roles that involve patient care, meal preparation, and light cleaning is beneficial
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively manage physical demands of the role
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience when working with diverse populations
