A great opportunity to be a part of a busy established cold storage facility in the Brampton area This position offers the opportunity to demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced setting. The successful candidate would be familiar with the Warehouse/Logistics industries, and will have an exceptional work ethic, executing duties with meticulous accuracy. Excellent communication, prioritization and multi-tasking skills are a must. A self-starter, the successful candidate would be equally capable of working individually and in a team; providing back up to teammates during busy times and vacation coverage.

Location: Brampton, close to 410 & 407

Shift: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6pm.

Day to day tasks:

· Ensuring all inventory is properly accounted for and logged by accurately entering inbounds and preparing outbound releases using a warehouse management system (WMS)

· Issuing releases in WMS, ensuring FIFO, and preparing all necessary release paperwork

· Invoicing inbounds, outbounds and accessorial and reoccurring charges on a weekly basis

· Booking appointments with carriers

· Checking and scanning all completed BOLs and inbound receiving reports to customers

· Providing customers with updated inventory listings and various reports upon request

· Ensuring inventory numbers balance and help investigate inventory discrepancies with warehouse staff

· Perform routine administrative duties including answering phones, emails, scanning and filing

· Other duties as assigned

This position requires that individuals have strong communication and customer service based skills. Required skills include the following:

· Experience using inventory management software to track inventory- Preferred but not necessary

· Able to work under tight deadlines

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills

· Punctual and reliable

Previous experience in an inventory, supply chain or logistics role is an asset. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. Ability to analyze and solve problems.

2 year contract position with potential to move to full time opportunity

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
