Job description and details

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Manager will manage operations. We are looking for a candidate who will help optimize operations and work methods and implement continuous improvement initiatives. He/she will also act as a leader within his department both in managing personnel and in terms of occupational health and safety.

Some examples:

  • Direct and advise supervisors and security personnel involve in patrolling, monitoring, operations, reporting, recording and all other duties as requested
  • Plan and manage bi-weekly staff schedule, absences and coordinate activities with all work units
  • Coordinate, assign and review the work of security guards with the entire management team. Assess performance and provide feedback

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
  • Minimum 2 years of "Boots on the ground" in Security
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.75 per hour
