Vendor Success Manager I
Saskatoon, SK

At Vendasta, we're leading the AI revolution from right here in Saskatoon—and beyond. We work together to empower our partners and customers through our AI-powered customer acquisition and engagement platform to help them get more customers—and keep them.

We're looking for a Vendor Success Manager I who is energized by building strong vendor relationships, streamlining operations, and driving adoption of innovative SaaS solutions and excited to ensure Marketplace products launch flawlessly, fulfill reliably, and evolve through AI-driven optimization. In this role, you'll play a key part in helping small and medium-sized businesses succeed—while shaping the future of AI for local economies.

About the Job

As a Vendor Success Manager I, your mission is to ensure third-party Marketplace products are seamlessly launched, reliably fulfilled, and continuously optimized through proactive communication, operational precision, and AI-assisted workflows. You'll work across onboarding, training, fulfillment, and support to manage vendor interactions using structured SOPs, insight-led reporting, and AI-enriched diagnostic tools.

In this role, your success ensures our Marketplace evolves into a scalable, AI-ready commerce hub for our Partners and their SMB clients. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketplace, Billing, Support, and Marketing teams—helping vendors integrate smoothly, adopt best practices, and achieve fulfillment excellence.

Your Impact

As a Vendor Success Manager you'll work with Sales, Customer Success team, and the Solutions Architecture team to:

  • Onboard & Launch Vendors: Manage new vendor and SKU onboarding, from product listings and documentation intake to pricing validation, billing setup, and smooth handoff to internal teams.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Act as the main operational contact, hosting check-ins, monitoring SLAs, resolving issues, and sharing optimization recommendations.
  • Optimize with AI Tools: Use AI-assisted platforms to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, generate health summaries, and maintain Marketplace documentation.
  • Drive Adoption & Enablement: Guide vendors on aligning with platform strategy and AI-readiness, communicate updates, and collaborate on promotions to boost adoption.

What You Bring to the Table

You are a collaborative problem solver with strong operational, technical, and communication skills. With 3–5 years of experience in vendor operations, customer success, account management, or a related field (preferably SaaS/tech), you:

  • Have strong knowledge of SaaS ecosystems, Marketplace operations, third-party integrations, and white-label commerce
  • Understand digital product fulfillment, SLAs, and recurring billing models
  • Have exposure to AI tools for support and operations (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Grammarly, insight generators)
  • Are comfortable with ticketing systems, project boards and CRM tools
  • Can synthesize complex processes into clear, actionable documentation and guidance
  • Are detail-oriented and excel in cross-functional, high-volume settings
  • Bring prior experience with SaaS billing systems, Marketplace SKUs, or vendor onboarding processes (preferred)
