Mortgage Brokerage Assistant (Entry-Level → Executive Assistant Path)

Location: Primarily Remote (British Columbia)

Position Type: 30-40 hours per week | Long-Term Opportunity

About the Role

We're a fast-growing, client-first mortgage broker in British Columbia looking for a highly organized, people-loving, and upbeat Mortgage Broker Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position with a clear growth path toward an Executive Assistant / Office Manager role for the right person.

We're looking for someone who takes their work seriously, but also brings positive energy, warmth, and a sense of fun to their day. If you love helping people, enjoy learning new systems, and take pride in delivering five-star, white-glove service, this could be a long-term home for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing and organizing client documents and files
  • Entering and maintaining accurate client data in our CRM
  • Supporting mortgage applications and lender submissions
  • Communicating professionally and warmly with clients, lenders, realtors, and legal offices
  • Managing calendars, reminders, follow-ups, and workflows
  • Creating, maintaining, and improving Google Sheets and Excel trackers
  • Assisting with marketing and client communications, including: social media scheduling and posting, canva design updates (posts, templates, client materials), email templates and light content support
  • Helping improve systems, processes, and office flow
  • Being a calm, capable point of support in a busy environment

Skills & Experience

Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfort with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ability to work independently in a remote environment, strong people skills and emotional intelligence.

Compensation & Hours

  • Hourly range: $19–$25 per hour, based on experience and growth, licensed applicants negotiable.
  • 30-40 hours a week. Compensation and hours will build over time with experience, performance, and responsibility.
