Job Description

PL Energy Services is seeking a highly organized and driven Executive Assistant to provide direct support to our leadership team. This in-person role is ideal for a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a sharp eye for detail, excellent written communication skills, and a proactive mindset.

You will be working closely with the Director of Operations, supporting key business functions including executive operations, internal communications, campaign rollouts, and project support.

Core Duties

  • Manage calendars, meeting schedules, and travel logistics for senior executives
  • Draft, review, and respond to email correspondence with professionalism and clarity
  • Conduct business research and prepare concise reports on potential opportunities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns
  • Manage and schedule posts on company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain a library of project images for marketing and client showcases
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and document preparation across departments
  • Support internal initiatives, special projects, and executive-level reporting
  • Travel as required to project sites, client meetings, or events across Ontario and Canada

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft TEAMS tools
  • Experience with social media platforms and scheduling tools is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments and with external stakeholders
  • Able to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in an Executive Assistant, Administrative, or Coordinator role
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience in engineering, construction, or technical services is considered an asset
  • Valid Ontario Driver's Licence (G)
  • Full-time availability (Monday to Friday)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Ontario and across Canada
