Rahul Glass Ltd, a renowned Glass Company dealing in Shower Doors, Mirrors and Closet Organizers is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for processing Payroll, maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Minimum Experience: 03 Years

Job Duties

  • Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees (including ROEs, T4s, deductions).

  • Prepare and file government remittances (GST, PST, payroll remittance, WCB).

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
  • Assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Generate financial Statements and reports as needed.
  • Maintain an organized filling system for financial records.
  • Assist with month end year end closing procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants as needed.

Skills

- Proficiency in clerical and bookkeeping procedures

- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop accounting software Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.

- Strong understanding of financial principles

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Excellent attention to detail

- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes

- Must have an excellent command over English language.
