The Manager, Supervisory Affairs is responsible for managing regulatory interactions with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and supporting senior leadership in regulatory engagements. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. As part of the Supervisory Affairs team, the Manager acts as a key liaison between the company and OSFI, helping to maintain a collaborative and compliant relationship with the regulator.

This position ensures timely and accurate regulatory submissions, supports senior leadership in regulatory engagements, and maintains high standards of compliance and collaboration across internal teams.

Core Responsibilities:


  1. Regulatory Submissions
  • Provide material to OSFI on-cycle (e.g., quarterly monitoring) and off-cycle (e.g., ad hoc requests), ensuring compliance with privacy and security guidelines.
Quarterly Regulatory Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain a quarterly report highlighting key regulatory focus areas, activities, consultations, and supervisory reviews.
Regulatory Review Preparation
  • Prepare pre-review meeting packages for upcoming OSFI reviews, ensuring material submitted is in a consistent format and high quality.
Regulatory Engagement Support
  • Support OSFI reviews and engagements by coaching teams and ensuring preparedness for regulator meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Some college or university education required; understanding of regulatory frameworks is essential.
  • Experience: 8–10 years in a related field.
  • Certifications: Designation or degree in Accounting, Legal, or Actuarial disciplines preferred.
