We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based 100% in office in Abbotsford, BC. The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting all activities required by the Investment Advisor. This role requires an individual who is professional, detail-oriented, independent, organized, and effective at multi-tasking, with strong communication and people skills. Candidates must be versatile and capable of performing a variety of tasks to get the job done in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is of the upmost importance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Enhance advisor's effectiveness by providing information management support;
  • Greet visitors, clients, and prospective clients in a friendly and professional manner;
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, sort, and distribute the mail;
  • General clerical and administrative duties: data entry, filing and any other assigned administrative duties/projects;
  • Coordinate the assembly and mailing of client paperwork;
  • Order and handle office supplies, coordinate vendors;
  • Coordinate and book travel arrangements;
  • Organize and coordinate all conference calls and webinars;
  • Manage the Advisors' calendars: Schedule meetings, allocate sufficient preparation time for
  • meetings, recognize and anticipate changes, resolve schedule conflicts;
  • Bank deposits to nearby bank.

The ideal candidate for this position has:

  • Minimum of 2-years experience as an Administrative Assistant is essential;
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic with a team-first mindset and proven ability to work independently;
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and results oriented;
  • Superior customer service skills and exceptional interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up effectively;
  • Proven ability to work in a professional team environment;
  • Takes initiative and identifies opportunities to add value;
  • Experience working with a Securities Brokerage firm an asset.

Salary Range:
$50,000 per annum (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience, and internal parity).
