NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC)
is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This post includes weekend working and is full time at 37 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Interventional Neuroradiology team as a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) within the Institute of Neurological Sciences. This is a regional service covering the West of Scotland.
You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).
You will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential. Previous healthcare experience within Interventional Neuroradiology is desirable but not essential for this role.
This post requires PVG Scheme membership / Disclosure Scotland check as part of NHSGGC pre-employment checks for all appointed candidates prior to the start date.
