Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in delivering personalized care to our clients in their homes or assisted living facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The position is based in Saskatoon, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as prescribed.
  • Support clients with daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in personal care or caregiving roles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and compassion.
  • Knowledge of medication administration and health monitoring.
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or dementia patients is preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility.
  • Valid certifications in caregiving or health-related fields are a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and availability for weekend, evening and morning shifts.
