The Brick is actively seeking to expand our distribution team. As an Equipment Operator you will be reporting to the Distribution Manager. The starting wage for this job is $15.00. Negotiable based on previous experience.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Picking and put-away of all product types
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
- Operate equipment, Power and non-powered equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Equipment operator experience on Order Picker is required. Experience on Clamp truck would be an asset
- Able to carry and lift product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading appliances, etc.)
- Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to meet deadlines
