Toronto, Ontario, Canada Tenstorrent Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Tenstorrent is leading the industry on cutting-edge AI technology, revolutionizing performance expectations, ease of use, and cost efficiency. With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.

We are hiring a System Integration Lead to unify and optimize the full stack of our next-generation AI hardware. This is a rare opportunity to build a team from scratch and drive the integration of our most advanced silicon into a cohesive, high-performance system. You'll own the interfaces, performance flow, and architectural coordination that make Tensix run at its peak.

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON or Austin, TX.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • Skilled in SoC or system-level integration, with a keen ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks in complex IP interactions.
  • Technical leader who fosters high-performing teams, cuts through ambiguity, and drives structured execution.
  • Confident navigating data formats, CPU-hardware boundaries, and cross-IP dependencies.
  • Comfortable switching between hands-on debugging and high-level collaboration across orgs.

What We Need

  • Build and lead a system integration team from the ground up, setting direction and standards.
  • Align all pieces of the Tensix architecture into a unified, high-performance AI core.
  • Own integration schedules, technical coordination, and system-level planning across DV, PD, and software.
  • Debug performance issues across chip boundaries and optimize integration workflows.

What You Will Learn

  • How to maximize AI hardware performance through tight integration across the system stack.
  • Techniques for shift-left enablement that connect software, emulation, and hardware readiness.
  • What it takes to drive PPA optimization through smart design and early performance insights.
  • How next-gen AI chips are architected, validated, and brought together at scale.

Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
