Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving,packing, forklift driving and operating equipment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate equipment such as forklifts . This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in logistics, heavy equipment operation to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods using heavy equipment such as forklifts.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately using warehouse management systems and order picker tools
  • Operate heavy machinery safely for shipping & receiving tasks
  • Maintain organization within the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse activities
  • Support maintenance tasks as needed within the warehouse environment
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control
  • Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and stock management
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to warehouse operations and heavy machinery use

This Warehouse Worker role is vital to maintaining smooth warehouse operations while providing opportunities for skill development in logistics, equipment operation, and warehouse management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$23.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
