Your Role at Roots
The Operations Analyst supports the operational performance of the Leather Factory by providing accurate data analysis, performance reporting, and process insights that drive productivity, quality, and cost optimization. This role connects production data with actionable business decisions, supporting all factory areas — from production and planning to maintenance, logistics, and quality.

In addition to data analysis and performance monitoring, the Operations Analyst coordinates a small administrative support group within Production to ensure accuracy of records, production orders, and information flow. Working closely with Production Leaders and cross-functional partners, the Operations Analyst ensures that performance metrics are tracked, analyzed, and used to sustain continuous improvement across the plant.

  • Support performance reviews with data summaries and trend analysis. Identify deviations and assist in root cause analysis.

Production Planning & Order Management:

  • Manage production orders in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Monitor order progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and coordinate with Planning, Logistics, and Production teams.
  • Maintain precise documentation of production activities.

  • Translate operational data into actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to interpret data and define corrective actions.
  • Recommend improvements to productivity, waste reduction, and resource optimization. Support cost and variance analysis with Finance.
