What You'll Do:

  • Plan and delivery fun, inclusive camp activities.

  • Lead daily program operations from arrival to dismissal.

  • Mentor and support camp instructors.

  • Communicate with parents and guardians as needed.

  • Assist with scheduling, administration and incident reporting.

  • Model excellent customer service and safe work practices.

  • Maintain a positive, energetic and professional camp environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Standard First Aid & CPR B or C

  • HIGH FIVE certification (Principles of Healthy Child Development)

  • Safe Food Handlers Certificate

  • Positive, adaptable, child-focused attitude.

  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening for anyone over 18.

  • Other bonus skills include but not required: post secondary education in Recreation, Early Childhood Education and previous experience leading programs, team or youth activities and a valid drivers license.

Position Details:

  • This is a Seasonal Fixed Term Contract position, that works between 32.5 to 40 hours per week.

  • Typical schedule will be Monday to Friday anywhere from 7am to 5:30pm.

  • You'll work both indoors and outdoors.

  • Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.20 per hour
