Role Details
Based at Smithfield and reporting to the State Sales Manager NSW, this role supports a diverse customer base while working closely with our external sales team. You'll manage your own portfolio of accounts, oversee reorders and pricing queries, and coordinate quotes, tenders and specifications. You'll also partner with Operations, Customer Service, New Work and Technical teams to ensure accurate information, smooth project delivery and exceptional service for every customer.
What You'll Do
• Maintain regular contact by phone, email and video to strengthen relationships
• Prepare quotes, tenders and proposals, and follow up with customers
• Keep CRM data accurate and up to date across all accounts
• Identify opportunities to grow customer spend and improve retention
• Support external Sales Managers with admin, reporting and project coordination
• Coordinate samples, design approvals and specification updates
• Assist with debtor management, product listings and sales reporting
What You'll Bring
• Experience in internal sales or sales administration, ideally with account ownership
• Strong customer service and communication skills across phone, email and video
• Solid experience preparing quotes, tenders and handling customer enquiries
• Proficient with CRM systems and maintaining accurate data
• Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Service-driven, hands-on and motivated to deliver commercial outcomes
• Experience in packaging or manufacturing, with exposure to spec management and design/sample coordination (desirable)
