As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. 

Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: 

Become familiar with different HR roles and responsibilities, understand the business and the ability to influence from a Human Resources standpoint, attend weekly department meetings, drive organizational process improvements and initiatives, assist with recruitment, research best practices, assist with improving employee experience. 

What you'll do:

The successful student may be involved in the following:

  • Provide recruitment support to the HR Business Partners:

    • develop job postings;
    • conduct preliminary screenings;
    • manage the Applicant Tracking System;
    • schedule interviews;
    • develop offer letters;
    • facilitate background screening;
    • facilitate onboarding process.

  • Provide input, recommendations and implementation of changes to current HR procedures and practices. 

  • Assist in the development, review and update of organizational policies and processes.

  • Support site initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience.

  • Support HR Generalist tasks, as needed 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Third or fourth-year student enrolled in Human Resources undergraduate degree or diploma;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail;
  • Must maintain the strictest confidence in dealing with highly sensitive employee and applicant information;

  • Strong self-starter and time management skills.
