StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student to join our Performance Engineering Team in Winnipeg, MB, CA for the 2026 summer term (4 months). The ideal candidate will bring strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills (both oral and written), along with solid project management experience and knowledge in data analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Develop engine testing requirements.
  • Perform design and analysis on test cell instrumentation systems.
  • Analyze test cell aerodynamics.
  • Assist in configuration control and calibration of test cells.
  • Perform engineering troubleshooting related to engine performance including analyzing problems, performing engineering calculations and communicating solutions to appropriate staff.
  • Design, implement and maintain diagnostic test cell tools and analysis spreadsheet toolkit.
  • Perform trend monitoring of engine test cell and engine performance.
  • Write technical reports and procedures.
  • Coordinate process improvement initiatives.
  • Other projects as assigned.

What skills you'll need: (Required Skill/Experience):

  • MATLAB experience.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office experience/knowledge.
  • 4th year Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering students entering final year of studies
  • Demonstrated skills in data analysis.
  • Good understanding of basis mechanical engineering principles
