As a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team, the Full time Kinesiologist will collaborate in the provision of therapeutic services. The Kinesiologist will work in collaboration with a qualified Physiotherapist at our Fracture clinic at Mackenzie Richmond Hill hospital

As the successful candidate, you are a graduate of a recognized program from an accredited Kinesiology Program with two years of experience. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a high level of initiative and adaptability to rapidly changing demands

POSITION SUMMARY:

Full time permanent 7:30 am-3:30 pm, Mon- Friday, (37.5 hours/week) at Fracture clinic

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments
  • Formulating goals and recommendations
  • Planning and implementing client-centered, goal-directed treatment programs

  • Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited program in Kinesiology and are a member in good standing of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
  • Recent experience in managing patients in acute/rehab programs is preferred
  • Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional, able to work effectively and collaboratively with rehab assistants as well as with a high-performance interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Sound knowledge of community resources is an asset
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential
  • Ability to adapt to new computer applications
