Kinesiologist / Emg Tech

**Overview**

If you are already R.T. EMG certified, your pay will correspond to your experience. If you are a new grad in Kinesiology or Health Science, we may be able to train you with hands-on experience under our physicians' direct supervision. We accept both salary-based or contractor-based employment models. You need to have strong skills in anatomy.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare patients for EMG testing by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort.
- Conduct electromyography tests, including nerve conduction studies, following established protocols.
- Monitor and record patient responses during testing, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning properly before and after tests.
- Document test results clearly and accurately in patient records for physician review.
- Assist in the interpretation of results alongside medical staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.

**Skills**
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to neurology and electromyography.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate test administration and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Familiarity with EMG equipment and testing procedures is preferred but not required.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
